I upgraded to this after trying another brand. I like that you can pick between buzz, beep, and shock and adjust the level on all 3. I don’t use the shock on my little lady but the low setting beep and buzz are enough to make her stop as soon as I put the collar on her.The instructions take some getting used to. A few times to read and reread to make sure I was picking the correct settings but once I figured them out it was good.I also wish I could get the collar to be shorter without cutting off the extra slack but nothing to really do about it. She’s a dachshund so it is to be expected it would be big on her since it is a one size fits all.

This little girl loves the sound of her own voice! Her favorite thing to do is stand outside and bark at the air from every corner of the deck! Once she gets going she’s extremely hard to get to stop and to listen and to come inside. We’ve tried everything, even hiring a dog trainer. Nothing consistently works. This collar has changed all of that. She has only ever experienced the vibration set to the lowest setting and she did not like it one bit. So now just the warning beep is enough for her. She still does low little puffy barks which are totally fine. She loves her squeaky toys and I was worried the loud squeaks would set it off but they do not. We tested this beforehand and have monitored it closely. I was also worried it would be too bulky for her (she’s 8 lbs) but it’s not. It comes with a really long collar strap so we just fit it to her size and cut off the extra and then heated the edge with a lighter to re seal it. Like I said the lowest vibration was strong enough for her to really dislike it. We’ve never used the shock and we don’t plan to as she’s so little and so far it’s unnecessary. So needless to say I imagine this would work on even the biggest barkybonschnauzers. She’s worn it for about a week now and we’ve not had to charge it yet!
