I have a bunion on my left foot and it forces my large toe into the one beside it, causing a painful callus. I bought these and wear them every day to work, either with socks or not. The socks I wear are Japanese-style, with a separate space for the large toe and another space for the other 4 toes. This bunion relief sock fits into the Japanese-style sock perfectly. I am not having any pain from the first two toes rubbing together. It doesn’t pull the large toe away from the others, but I am still much more comfortable. I would definitely buy this again!

I have only had this product for about a week, so unsure how much it will do in terms of keeping the toes from overlapping, but I will say that it does protect and cushion the bunion with or without shoes. It definitely has a lot of compression, which can be a bit too much, but the directions say to start off wearing it for a short amount of time and increase the time as you get used to it. For now, I am happy with the product, but waiting to see if it really helps in toe separation.

I was reluctant that this would work but it did. Admittingly I’m wearing tight shoes today and my bunions do not hurt a bit. It actually looks as if the bunion got smaller. I am a fan and will continue using this product. In addition, it looks fine with any shoe. I haven’t worn them with sandals yet but with shoes where they’re exposed and it camouflages perfectly. I just need to stop wearing tight shoes but I have a wide foot so sometimes it’s hard getting nice shoes that are wide.

The only issue is that this rubs against the area between the big toe and the adjacent toe.The solution was to put a piece of tape over that area prior to putting on this device.
