Did you know that ?
Recent research has highlighted the consequences of neglecting oxygen monitoring, particularly in pulse, perfusion index, and respiratory frequency. Failure to monitor these vital signs can lead to undetected respiratory issues, compromised perfusion, and delayed intervention in emergencies. Additionally, individuals suffering from these problems who fail to consistently monitor with high-quality, reliable oximeters may experience even more severe consequences. Regular monitoring of oxygen levels with trustworthy oximeters is essential for maintaining optimal health and well-being

If you fall into any of these categories, chances are you could highly benefit from PulseGuardPro.
1. Chronic Respiratory Condition Patient: A retired individual managing a chronic respiratory condition like COPD or asthma, previously diagnosed with COVID or cardiovascular problems, needs to regularly monitor oxygen levels and respiratory rate to manage their condition and prevent complications.
Example: Our client, Emily, a retired engineer with COPD, uses our finger pulse oximeter daily to monitor her oxygen saturation, which should stay above 90%, her heart rate, which should be between 60-90 BPM, and her respiratory frequency, which should be within her normal range of 12-20 breaths per minute.
2. Fitness Enthusiast or High-Altitude Hiker: Someone who enjoys fitness activities or explores high-altitude environments, 1- heart rate stay within safe ranges during activity.
Example: John, a fitness enthusiast, uses a finger pulse oximeter while running to ensure his oxygen saturation remains above 95%, his heart rate stays within his target range of 120-150 BPM, and his respiratory frequency is normal.

This is as important (if not more so) than a thermometer. I have no idea why they are not more wide spread. Knowing your blood oxygen level is KEY to knowing what your respiratory health is, and what direction it is heading in. In my experience You need to be at 97 or better (I am NOT A DOCTOR) or you have an issue that you need to deal with via professional medical doctor. (by the time I got mine i was in the low 70’s with raging pneumonia, missed by other doctors. When I called my GP and told him I was in the 70s he could no longer dismiss me as “you are gonna be ok” , and to the hospital I went! ) Dare I say this device saved my life. Why wait until you are in the low 90’s with more serious problem causing you to get medical attention later rather than sooner? This is a key indicator, way cheaper than many medical visits.

I read a story of a nurse who got COVID, and knew to have one of these oximeters around the house. Her oxygen levels were at dangerously low levels (which is anything under 90%) while suffering from COVID and she didn’t even know it until she used the oximeter! She ordered some oxygen for her home, rather than go to the hospital, choosing to treat early with oxygen rather than waiting until she was even worse, and get a trip to the emergency room. I wanted to feel that empowered to know what my oxygen levels are, especially since some oddball cases of COVID only have low oxygen levels as their only symptom. Normal adults are supposed to vary from 94% to 99%. This oximeter seems fine for home use. It’s accurate enough to feel confident you are not sick. An added benefit is that you can see your oxygen levels improve when you exercise regularly. The one piece of advice is to hold your finger way at the end into the device, but not all the way in, because that may give you a false reading.

bought this at the advice of a doctor who recommended having a reliable oximeter during the COVID pandemic. The idea, he said, is to have an accurate baseline reading readily available so that if your oxygen level suddenly drops below 90, you will know to immediately contact your doctor. Time is of the essence when treating COVID, he told me. It’s just a small ‘weapon’ in the war against this deadly virus, but everything helps. The oximeter is also helpful for keeping track of one’s pulse, which for those who experience severe anxiety/panic, can fluctuate wildly. The oximeter is small, easily readable, and stores nicely in the carrying case that came with it. I’m very happy with my purchase, and the especially speedy delivery time.

Haven’t had this long enough to know all the ins and outs, nor have I checked its accuracy. I appreciate the ability to change the direction of the read-out. There is a ridge on the back of the surface on which one places a finger which prevents the finger from going too far into the mechanism. A sort of bar around the back of the external case aids in opening in order to insert finger. Easy to turn on and goes off automatically. Sturdy and easy-to-open case. Time will tell as to relative accuracy, if the battery case slide will last/stay on, and the springs will keep batteries in place. Sometimes hard to tell the difference between a 6 and a 5 on the pulse read-out, but I will play around with the adjustable contrast feature.

I had a blood transfusion recently, due to low hemoglobin counts of my blood (HGB). That is the part of the blood that carrys oxygen. While in the hospital , they would put some device on the tip of a finger, to measure the oxygen levels in me. This week I decided to order one. . It came in a few days. Unfortunately, I had to return to the hospital this week on a differant matter, but took this Oximeter with me to test it out. In the few days I was there, I would often test this one out, compared to the devices the nurses used. Each time, mine would be exact or 1 to 2 points off. Nice!!!! Also, I like the fact that it’s backlit and it can be read from multiple angles….D.D.
